Author's Notes: First in a series of thirty-one themes (rather obviously). As a whole, these are briefer and more unpolished than what I usually write; I tend to use them as a rest for my brain between larger pieces. I'm gonna start posting them fairly often, as I've built up a fair few over the past while (I'm just about to head off and finish one now, for example). They tend to skew to angst, but that's more because of how October's themes worked out than any intent of mine. Next one's fluffy, though.
