Fandom: Doctor Who
Genre: Humour, Romance (ish)
Rating: A light PG
Words: 4324
Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who.
Summary: Best mate. Lovely thing to have, he liked having a best mate, but it was the kiss of death as far as his other intentions were concerned. Really, some days, the Doctor couldn't tell if humans in general (and Rose Tyler in particular) were fantastic or just plain maddening.
Spoilers? Generic S2 stuff.
Author's Notes: It's all this picture's fault. That and my penchant for reading really bad romance novels when I was a young teenager. Fortunately, I have much better taste in romances nowadays, which allows me to look back and laugh. And hopefully make you guys laugh with this fic.
Thanks to
rallalon for betaing and guiding me through my hopeless attempts at writing Rose. ♥
( For all the centuries he had spent in the company of various humans (very various humans, at that), he would never, ever understand them, the Doctor concluded. )
