Author's Notes: Every so often, right before I fall asleep, I get these fic ideas. Ninty-nine times out of a hundred, they're crap. This one, however, I felt confident enough to get up out of bed at 3:20 in the morning and scribble down some quick notes. It still looked good the next day, and actually I was quite excited about it, so I wrote it up soon thereafter.
This fic is outside of what I think of as my Qniverse, a series of fics that should be showing up over the next few months; it's merely a stray idea.
