Summary: The always odd and never boring daily lives ofluceti's Legendia crew as they relate to Grune.
Author's Notes: Damn these were fun. But, then again, considering how Legendia's cast is just one oddball after another, it was to be expected. All of these are Grune-centric--either from her point of view or how the characters in the cast relate to her--but I was going for writing what I know.
Everybody gets multiple references, even Sophie (though hers are pretty sparse). Yup.
01. Walking
For some reason, Walter always seems to walk just a little ahead of her when they go places together.
02. Waltz
Moses blushes as red as his hair (and his nickname) when he asks her to dance.
03. Wishes
Norma has a piece of a pretty stone she keeps close by; she says that Grune will find out someday why it's so important.
04. Wonder
When Norma and Moses chorus, "Hmm. . . . I wonder," she can't figure out why they start laughing afterward.
05. Worry
There's something making Fenimore sad, and without knowing what's wrong, she can't find a way to make it better.
06. Whimsy
She and Norma always do such exciting things together!
07. Waste/Wasteland
One day, she walks into Fenimore's room when she's changing and sees scars all over her body; Fenimore yells at her to get out, and only when she refuses her hug does Grune listen.
08. Whiskey and rum
Grune accidentally brings home the wrong drinks from the store, and the residents of House 34 (plus Moses and Jay) have a very interesting evening indeed.
09. War
Up or down: the position of the toilet seat is of vital strategic importance.
10. Weddings
Grune can't wait for Senel to come back so he and Stella can have a beautiful wedding and live happily ever after.
11. Birthday
When she can't remember hers, Norma makes up one and throws her a wonderful party.
12. Blessing
"Grune . . . may you always be as happy as you are now."
13. Bias
She knows she shouldn't have favourite friends, but . . . Norma and Fenimore are special.
14. Burning
She can't figure out where all the smoke is coming from until Stella runs into the kitchen and yanks—oh, she had put her cookies in the oven, after all!
15. Breathing
Sometimes, Grune wishes she were a Ferines; it would be so much fun to be able to breathe underwater and have her hair glow such pretty colours.
16. Breaking
"I did not!" Walter squawks when Norma teasingly accuses him of walking in on Grune on purpose.
17. Belief
Grune truly believes, with all her heart, that everyone from the Legacy loves each other and is the best of friends.
18. Balloon
It's much to Walter's humiliation that the only person in House 34 tall enough to retrieve Sophie's balloon from the ceiling is Grune.
19. Balcony
Grune sees Moses and Jay on the rooftop of CH3 and thinks they're having a wonderful time together; Fenimore sees them and wonders who will push the other off first.
20. Bane
One Orerines, one possible Orerines, three Ferines, and one child with the blood of both species—and yet, somehow, it works.
21. Quiet
It may take a long, long time, but Grune is determined to cure Walter of his shyness, no matter what.
22. Quirks
Stella cooks elaborate meals, Norma falls asleep everywhere, Walter flies about by shaping his soul into wings, Fenimore keeps a half-grown monster as a pet, and Grune . . . is Grune.
23. Question
"So, Fen-Fen . . . when's it your turn to bring a cranky guy home?"
24. Quarrel
Grune always smiles when Moses and Jay have one of their disagreements, because that's how they show they love each other.
25. Quitting
Sometimes Fenimore gets a little frustrated with her special training, and so, during those times, Grune make extra-sure to cheer her on.
26. Jump
"Hello, Moses!" Grune calls to her napping friend, and he nearly falls out of the tree.
27. Jester
She can always count on Norma and Moses to make her smile even more than usual.
28. Jousting
Grune thinks Norma and Walter must love each other very much, because sometimes, they sound just like Moses and Jay.
29. Jewel
"I found something pretty at the store today," Grune says, opening her hands to reveal a huge ruby, and Norma sprays her drink all over Stella.
30. Just
When the number of residents in a house increases by a third, the frequency of the phrase "Just a minute!" issuing from the single bathroom will quadruple.
31. Smirk
Moses trips over one of Sophie's toys and crashes into the wall; like Grune, Jay smiles when he sees his friend is all right.
32. Sorrow
"I miss m'boys somethin' awful," Moses confides in her, and Grune can only hug him and tell him that she's sure they'll be here soon.
33. Stupidity
The day Jay slips on a patch of wet grass and tumbles into the river is the day Grune never does see Moses stop laughing all the way.
34. Serenade
Stella sings while hanging out the laundry and Grune smiles as she weeds.
35. Sarcasm
“As brilliant as always, Grune,” Walter says, and Grune thanks him for being so kind.
36. Sordid
"Eugh, Red, where'd your pants go?!"
37. Soliloquy
Finally, one day, Grune learns what it was that made Fenimore so sad; when she does, all she can do is hold her close and listen.
38. Sojourn
If all the rest of her friends from the Legacy could join them here, Grune would be happy to stay in Luceti forever.
39. Share
Stella quickly learns to stake out the kitchen around mealtimes, or the only thing anyone would be eating would be Grune's sweets.

The few times House 34 is completely silent, Grune always wonders if she's wandered into the wrong house by mistake.
41. Nowhere
When Stella asks her if she would like to live in a house closer to the village centre, so they could be visited by more people, she receives an honestly uncomprehending look from Grune in response.

Everyone learns very quickly that it's impossible to get Grune to take sides.
43. Nuance
When Walter grudgingly complements her on her baking, Grune takes it as his sincere, heartfelt gratitude.
44. Near
Whenever Grune is baking, Stella and Fenimore are never far away.

Trying to keep Ques to a healthy Peepit diet is impossible when Grune is stuffing him full of peaches every time Fenimore turns her back.
46. Horizon
"C'mon, G-Girl—let's see what's out there!"

It's impossible to make Grune tell someone where she's going when she rarely knows herself, but Fenimore gives it a shot anyway.

Norma looks more innocent than Grune, and suddenly, the mystery of who ate the last cookie is solved.

Fenimore finally trains Grune into remembering to lock the door when she comes in at night, only to find herself shut out with four bags of spoiling groceries at high noon.

One by one, the residents of House 34 give up trying to change Grune and accept her just as she is.
