seikilosOkay, so. I started this on January 19th. For almost two solid months, I had it at 19/20 facts. Last night, I finally completed it.
YES, I KNOW I REALLY SUCK.
But it's done now. So yes. Probably not going to be of much interest to many people, but it was a good, character-building exercise, so you're getting it. Nyah.
Also. I may add five or so more facts to the end of it at a later date, because it doesn't quite feel finished at the moment, despite me hitting the end of my facts. I'll see.

Dunamis is dreaming again. Every once in a while, he has strange, random dreams. He isn’t sure what brings them on. This dream was about tomatoes with Cruxis Crystals. Awakening slowly, he thinks it must be some of Kratos’ memories leaking through again. This annoys him.

Dunamis’ annoyance is negated, however, when he awakens, finding his husband’s arms wrapped around his shoulders. He smiles. Waking up in Gabriel’s arms is one of his favourite things about being married.

Despite what doubtless many other people think, Dunamis is a romantic, but only where his own relationship is concerned. Not only does his previous thought about waking up in his husband’s arms prove it, but the fact that he is considering preparing a candlelight supper for Gabriel is something of a hint as well. He smiles again.

He lies back in bed, occasionally stroking Gabe’s hair while he waits for his husband to wake up.
It is an odd thought, but it occurs to Dunamis that “bisexual” is no longer the correct term for him. “Gabesexual” would be far more appropriate. There is a saying in Kratos’ memory that Dunamis has found, pertaining to being physically attracted to someone other than one’s spouse: “I may be married, but I’m not dead.” This does not apply to Dunamis at all.

Once Gabe has had time to wake up, Dunamis closes the small gap between them to kiss him, ignoring their morning breath. Gabe responds by returning the kiss and pressing up against his husband.
After they have made love, Dunamis, getting his racing heart and breathing under control, thinks he would be perfectly content were Gabe to take control in the bedroom (or wherever they would happen to be when the mood took them) all the time. However, since their sex life is the very last place in which Dunamis can sometimes be the dominant partner, he is reluctant to bring it up. After all, Dunamis is so submissive elsewhere that, were Gabriel to ask him to jump off a cliff, Dunamis would only pause long enough to ask which one.

After a while longer of post-sex cuddling, Dunamis and Gabe get out of bed and get dressed for the day. Gabe does not take very long, but Dunamis, having more of a selection, does. He studies his clothing carefully. He loves to dress up in outfits of all kinds, as long as they enhance his appearance.

Once he chooses an outfit and dresses, Dunamis spends a few moments checking his reflection in a mirror. He is very vain, although this would be news to no one. He is well aware of his attractiveness, and unlike Kratos, makes full use of his appearance. His movements are a little more deliberate and a lot more sexual than Kratos’. He enjoys the effect he has on those who do not know him well, but he enjoys the effect he has on his husband most of all.

Although it is early spring, Dunamis’ final decision for his outfit is one that leaves him slightly underdressed. He would rather been too cold than too warm, though, so he does not mind.

Dunamis decides to skip training that morning. He has done so for the past three days. While he enjoys having and using Kratos’ finely-honed abilities, he does not particularly like working at their upkeep. This will come back to hurt him someday.

There are some things about himself that Dunamis never talks about, not even to his husband, although Gabe no doubt has guessed. One is a core aspect of his personality. To many, Dunamis would seem arrogant. However, the truth is that he is among the most insecure of those who had lived at the ranch.
Quite the achievement, he thinks.

Despite how foolish it would seem to any who knew Gabe even slightly, Dunamis has to constantly remind himself that Gabe loves him and does indeed want to be married to him. He simply cannot understand why anyone, Gabe above all, would love him.
One of his greatest fears is that someday, Gabe will realise he does not love Dunamis, that there is no good reason for him to do so, and will leave him.

Though Dunamis would never, ever admit it, even under pain of torture, he owes Yuan greatly, since Yuan was the one who made Dunamis realise just how much he was taking his relationship with Gabriel for granted. If Yuan had never introduced an element of doubt into Dunamis’ mind concerning Gabe’s love, Dunamis would not have realised how much he truly did love Gabe until it was too late—or at least, that is what he thinks. Had Yuan not made him think his actions had driven Gabe away, Dunamis would not have been forced into examining his life and making the necessary changes to make the both of them happier.

Earlier in his life, once he had begun to deviate from the personality Rodyle had instilled in him, he had been full of hatred for almost everyone. The sole exception had been Gabe. Now, however, there are only three people for which Dunamis reserves his loathing: Rodyle, Yuan, and Leafil.

Unlike Gabe, Dunamis remembers almost everything from his earlier days, both when he had been mindlessly horny and when he had been manipulative and malicious. He tries not to think about it.

Dunamis has cried twice in his life, although he has become teary a time or two more than that.
The first time he cried was the day Yuan died. It was not because he was mourning Yuan but rather, it was because of the effect of the seraph’s death on Gabe via the connection. Suddenly losing the connection that had gradually changed Gabe from being a mindless clone caused Dunamis’ lover to suddenly snap back to the way he had once been. He did not cry as the light of intelligence died in Gabe’s eyes. It was after he had made love with Gabe, and Gabe had had sex with him. Only after what was his lover in body only had fallen asleep did Dunamis allow himself to let go of his suppressed emotions.
The second was after he had learned that Leafil was pregnant with Gabe’s child, that Leafil had caused Dunamis to break his promise to Gabe to keep him from doing anything he would not ordinarily do, made before Gabriel had lost his mind.
It was not when Gabe, shaking, came to tell him what had happened. Dunamis had held Gabe as tight as he could without hurting his new husband, trembling just as much. Late that night, however, when Gabe had fallen asleep, Dunamis had left their room and walked. He had walked until he had found an empty room. There, he had dropped to his knees and sobbed until he was wrung dry. Then he had punched and kicked a few holes in the metal walls with angelic strength and had returned to bed as though nothing had happened.

Despite having no real hatred for most, Dunamis still taunts and teases nearly everyone he comes across, with few exceptions beyond the obvious. Knowing most would hate him for his earlier actions, he prefers to hurt people before they get a chance to hurt him. When they retaliate, he is prepared and has already armoured himself.

Dunamis wanders downstairs to the kitchen and pulls a cookbook off the shelf. As he pages through it, his mind wanders to his other hobbies. He does not realise it, but his recent obsession with pastimes is a reaction against everything that has happened to him and Gabe. His subconscious reasoning is such fantastic tragedies do not happen to ordinary people, and so if he could only be normal, terrible things would stop happening to the two of them. Unfortunately, considering the people with which he was surrounded for the first months of his life, his idea of “normal” is greatly skewed, and while he knows ordinary people have hobbies, he has no real idea of what those hobbies are.

After looking for a while longer, he picks a recipe and starts assembling the ingredients. While he has been picking up numerous hobbies over the past few months, he has kept up very few. Baking is one of those he has kept. Despite Gabriel’s marked lack of interest in eating, he finds the activity relaxing. He is gradually improving and now knows better than to eat cookies directly after taking them from the oven.
Another such hobby is yoga. While Gabe was less than enthusiastic about the concept of partner yoga, Dunamis found himself enjoying it and ended up learning about solo yoga instead. He finds it soothing and it is excellent for his flexibility, something that he has been noticing has definite benefits in another part of his life altogether.

Another hobby Dunamis is pursuing is singing. Unfortunately, unlike baking, Kratos had not developed his singing voice in the slightest. This gives him no base ability with which to work and makes it all the harder. However, he is determined to succeed and he hopes both he and Gabe will enjoy the results sometime in the not-too-distant future.

In the middle of baking, he stops and remembers something, smiling. Dunamis was once plotholed to a concert put on by Gackt. His outfit was switched to something more appropriate for attending the concert and he was there long enough to hear several songs. Then he was plotholed back, the time taken in his world no more than a few seconds. He has been searching for a reliable way back to hear the rest of the concert ever since.
