And yeah, it is rather odd to think about, isn't it? I've been musing over what Yuan would do post-game for a long, long time. One thing that Lloyd didn't bother to ask in this fic was what Yuan was doing instead of running the Renegades. I've this idea that he and Botta would keep working for a better world, but, for a break, on a smaller scale. Like, say, pro bono work for half-elves in need--that sorta thing. For sure, Yuan is absolutely not someone who could ever retire completely (unless he was dead), and Botta's pretty much the same way.
