I've been experimenting with form and symmetry lately (although I haven't actually posted anything else yet), and this is part of what I've been trying. I can't say I feel I was particularly successful here, but hey.

This was also intended to preface another fic taking place the first full day after the events on Lhant Hill, but it ended up not fitting the overall tone, so I'm posting it as its own piece. So yup.
