Magnetic Poetry

I've been ficcing and getting ideas but not actually...finishing things. Or even getting them down on virtual paper. There are a couple of Tales of the Abyss fics on the way (one Anise and Dist-centric, another for the young Keterburg crew), but for now, have the results of a writing exercise I did.

The writing exercise in question was, basically, I had to create a poem out of those magnetic words--you know, the ones you stick on the fridge and make dumb statements of incomprehensibility out of. Or at least I do. I don't know about the rest of the world.

Anyway, I was surprised at how I was actually able to make a pretty good poem out of it--almost as though I wasn't limited to a certain number of words.

Well, enjoy. Mind the sex, now. Yes, I wrote a poem about sex. Using magnets. I think I win something for that.

woman & C by water
lost in bliss
cool summer morning sex
her wild summer beauty
she smiles
her hips dance
fly

she kissed through rain
between fire
a thousand-word laugh
always her sun

summer mountain
blue lake wind
taste sky
sing & sing
love
caress

intertwined
her friend
her morning heart
she was there
a woman for dreaming

yes
their rhythm
their world

Oooh, I like it! It's very different and refreshing. (When I first saw this I thought it was like kinky magnet-sex or something.)

That's really cool, actually :o I've never even thought to try to make something this long and meaningful out of magnets like this. (The last time was just a few days ago, when I went to my best friend's house and left the message "Cholesterol is my friend!" among their fridge magnets. xD;)
