There was also Yuri and Judith's kid, Jonah, but when they both dropped, he was taken away by the Malnosso. I'm not sure when that happened, but I think he was born around the same time. So yeah, she's at least partially the reason for the rules! (And she won't be the one and only for much longer--Milly's just about due at this point.)

And yes, Sophie has her iron eres--essentially physical magic that's used by Senel, Chloe, Moses, and Jay. She doesn't have anything in the way of control of them yet, so that was smart thinking on your part. XD;
